Thank you for your interest in decorating envelopes! We appreciate your time and dedication to our cause. Please keep in mind that there are more people who are interested in creating hugs than they are in writing letters. Our hugs are sent out in letters, not individually. If you, or someone you know, is interested in writing a letter, please consider choosing to write to a recipient over creating a hug. Our goal for 2023 is to ensure that our recipients are continuing to get letters of hope and support at regular intervals. The more letters we are able to send, the more hugs we can pack them with! WE LOVE SENDING AN EXTRA HUG IN EVERY LETTER

  • Index Card Art

    • Take normal 3x5 index cards and decorate them with quotes or pictures

    • Can be drawn, stenciled, stamped, stickered, or penciled!

  • Full Page Art

    • Must still be lightweight paper

    • Can be in different colors

    • You can use the whole page to send messages of hope

    • It will be folded into the letter!

  • Crocheted items

    • Should be small enough to fit into normal business envelopes

    • Can be hearts, stars, animals, bookmarks, or anything creative.

    • You can add loops to the end for them to tie the item on something

  • Bookmarks

  • Flat or pop up origami

  • Key chains

  • Braided bracelets

  • Cloth pieces with quotes, phrases, or designs which lay flat in the envelope
